Work at Home Moms
O.K, work at home moms, so yesterday I’m watching the local news and I cant help but notice that it’s just one depressing story after another. It’s either the health care bill, the economy, the war, global warming and on and on and on.
I can not for the life of me understand why we don’t show all the good life produces. Thats exactly why I want to share this story with you.
Back in March an old classmate of mine from New Jersey contacted me on Facebook. Tracy and I had not seen each other in 24 years and it was really great to talk about the pranks we used to pull back in 7th grade.
Our lives had taken completly diifferent roads. Tracy has four children and was a single mom on welfare. By the way, while I’m on the subject, not everyone on welfare is lazy and looking to get free money from the goverment as some news sources would have us believe.
Tracy’s life had dealt her some bad breaks and she made some poor choices as well, but did that mean she didnt deserve another chance? Or any of us for that matter? As long as you dont give up on yourself life can be very forgiving.
So, back to my story. I flew up to New Jersey about ten days later to celebrate my birthday with family and decided to meet up with Tracy to “catch up” on old times. I told her how I became an internet marketer and REALLY suggested she might want to give it a try. The funny thing is, Tracy didnt think she had anything special to share with the world, she was, as she put it, “just a welfare mom with nothing”.
What Tracy didnt count on was ALL the other people out there who feel exactly the same way.
I’m very proud to say that nine months later. Please let me say that again. Nine months later, and Tracy has her own home business and is NO LONGER ON WEFARE.
